UPE Aramid Frame — 45% Lighter Than Dacron
The UPE Aramid composite (UX10) combines Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (Dyneema®) with Aramid fibers (Kevlar®), creating a frame that is 45% lighter than Dacron while being significantly stiffer. Diagonal aramid fibers absorb forces in three directions — a unique property on the market.
Teijin D2 — Proven Canopy Performance
Teijin D2 delivers the ideal balance of performance and long-term durability. Its double ripstop polyester weave offers exceptional tear strength and UV resistance. At ~50 g/m², D2 provides the perfect balance between lightness for agility and stiffness for responsiveness.
Explosive Pop & Dynamic Response
Increased torsional stiffness in both the leading edge and the strut results in a significant performance boost. The AVID resists deformation, keeping the wing profile locked in during high-speed runs and powered maneuvers.
